About us

about_imgHello Fathers and Daughters,

Are you looking to spend more time together? Are your daughters growing up faster and faster, and you feel that you are missing out? Are you looking for new ways to connect with each other? Then why not join the Blackhawk Princesses Daddy and Daughter Program.

The Daddy and Daughter Blackhawk Princesses is a way to foster and build the understanding and companionship between fathers and daughters.

Our Program has been active for over 20 years on the southside of Chicago and the southwest suburbs. The Blackhawk Princesses have helped thousands of fathers and daughters build strong relationships.

The Blackhawk Princesses encompass families from Alsip, Beverly, Blue Island, Crestwood, Evergreen Park, Morgan Park, Mount Greenwood and Oak Lawn with over 200 families and nearly 300 girls in the program. The ages of the daughters range from 4 to 15 years old.

You can click on Upcoming Events or Past Events to get an idea of some of the activities we do each year. Some of the highlights include our fall Pumpkin Hunt which serves as the big kick off for the year. The annual Christmas Party includes a visit from Santa and gifts for all the girls. Key Lime Cove is always a popular event in the middle of winter. But, the culmination of the year is a three day / two night camping trip (Friday to Sunday), at the YMCA Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana. Plus, each month, the individual groups (tribes) meet for some kind of arts and crafts and to spend quality time together! We try to place families into tribes from the same school or parish.

The cost is only $75 for father and one daughter, plus another $10 for each additional daughter. This fee covers most of the events during the year, but some events, such as Camp Tecumsah and Key Lime Cove do require additional payment. If you are interested in joining, click here to learn how to join. Someone will contact you with the details of the program and what tribes are around your area and how you and your daughter can start enjoying the Blackhawk Princesses Program. We look forward to talking to you soon…
